Science of Softwashing
Approach
Softwashing is the process of using low pressure to do all of the cleaning required of various surfaces on a home's exterior. This approach is more closely aligned with that of pest control rather than pressure washing. 150psi is the maximum pressure used in the softwashing method, compared to upwards of 4000psi used with pressure washing.
Results
Choosing softwashing over power washing ensures that your home will be free from the dangers, and damages associated with high power pressure cleaning. Softwashing is a very gentle approach to exterior home cleaning, and gives the home a deeper, more effective cleaning. The pressure washing technique simply blasts spores of mold and mildew around or in some cases even pushing those spores deeper into the surface being cleaned; while softwashing kills the spores of mold and mildew at the root, thus preventing their return.
Protecting Our Environment
All of the chemicals used in our softwashing technique are biodegradable with low VOC's and are Non Hazardous. Our chemicals receive the "Good Stewards" award for being environmentally friendly. Our process uses 1/4 the water used in high power pressure washing. At Sailfish Softwash we look to exceed customer satisfaction while remaining environmentally conscious in the process.
